MORE PRECAUTIONS IN EGYPT
Ready For Any Emergency
CAIRO, May 2
As a result of the Mediterranean tension, Egypt has taken further precautions, including the cancellation of army and police leave, the. guarding of strategic centres, and the imposition of the death penalty for sabotage and espionage. The Premier declared that Egypt was ready for any emergency. Though the international situation remained serious there was no immediate cause for alarm.
