The stewards of the Pahiatua Racing Club have decided to apply for Friday and Saturday, December 13 and 14 next, as the dates for the annual meeting. If those dates are not available the club will apply for Saturday and Monday, January 25 and 27. The following grounds committee has been appointed: Messrs. C. Connell, A. Bentley, E. H. Lett, H. R. Whitta, and T. Devane. The race chib ball will be held as usual, and the profits will be given to the mayor’s recruits’ presentation fund.
