FOR PATRIOTIC EFFORT
Club's Bridge Party To Raise Funds A successful bridge party was held in the clubroom of the Wellington Travel Club on Wednesday afternoon in order to raise funds for the club’s patriotic effort. Tlie hostesses were Mrs. B. McKay, Mrs. C. Bott and Miss N. E. Donovan (secretary), and the players Mesdames A. Bannister, I. MeDonal, A. J. Manson, C. E. Washer, L. B. Clark, A. G. Fordham, 0. Burgess, C, Dyer, J. Southward, F. C. Grubb, E. Casey, J. G. Hickey, G. Barker, G. K. Brown, S. Selfman, A. Palmer, A. Waddell, P. Ifendra, D. C. Haherfield, E. L. Blick W. E. Haughton, N. Spcary, A. Ensor, J. S. Southward, Field, H. .Tustin, F. Tustin and Miss C. E. Wise. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses. Further bridge parties will be held every other Wednesday in the clubroom.
