THEIR MAJESTIES TOUR LANCASHIRE
(British Official Wireless.) (Received May 2, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, May 1. Tlie King and Queen made a tour of Lancashire today, visiting docks, aircraft and armament factories and housing estates. At Mersey Docks Their Majesties met a merchant captain who was rescued by H.M.S. Cossack from the Altmark, in which he was a prisoner after bis ship bad been sunk by tlie Admiral Graf Spee. They also chatted at. a naval gun factory with the commander of tlie submarine Ursula, which first sighted tlie German liner Bremen and later sank a German cruiser.
