Anti-War Candidate Loses Deposit (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 1. The Pollok by-election caused by the death of Sir John Gilmour resulted: Commander Galbraith (National L 17.550: Mr. John Nicholson (anti-war candidate), 2-1.01. There was no change in the party representation. Mr. Nicholson forfeited his deposit.
