Measures To Be Taken In Britain DEFENCE LAWS TO BE STRENGTHENED (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 2, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, May 1. It is understood that an order will be made next week to strengthen the defence regulations dealing with subversive activities. The Minister of Home Security, Sir John Anderson, has had consultations with the party leaders on the subject.
