INTOXICATED DRIVER LOSES LICENCE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) OHRISTCHUROH, May 2. Two months’ imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Alexander McMillan, on a charge of being intoxicated in. charge of a car. The magistrate, Mr. Lovvey, pointed out that McMillan had three -previous convictions for similar offences. McMillan’s licence was cancelled for five year's. McMillan, who is a commercial traveller, .aged: 37, admitted the charge.
