Fascist Journal Suggests Suppression

ROME, April 30.

The phenomenal increase tn the popularity of the Vatican City newspaper “Osservatore Romano,” due to the impartiality of its presentation of war news, has resulted in. Signor Roberto Fnrinacci’s "Regime Fascist!! asking whether ‘‘the time has not conic to suppress this paper—the servant of Italy’s enemies and the obvious spokesman of Jews.' The circulation of the "Osservatore Romano” Ims increased from 9000 to 200.000 since the outbreak of the war, and it is now the largest of any newspaper in Italy.
