"CRAZY" EVENING

Younger Members' Novel ‘ Party

The first of a series of monthly parties arranged for younger members of the Victoria 1 League in Wellington was held in the league rooms last night and took the form of a “crazy” entertainment. About 30 members were present and the programme included a number of amusing competitions. The four hostesses were Misses Patricia Gledhill, Helen Wynn-llesse, Nancy Gillespie ami Margaret Briggs A 'buffet supi>er was served. It is intended to hold similar evenings on the first Wednesday of each month, four girls from the league being appointed to arrange each gathering. A “May Day” competition was won by Miss Barbara Mack, an animal competition- by Miss Noolino Cramond and a musical one by Miss Muriel Hunt. An final competition was won by Miss Evelyn White.
