Australian & New Zealand Team Invited
SYDNEY, April 30.
'The California Rugby Union has invited a combined Australian and New Zealand team to visit California cany in 1911 with a return visit in June of the same year. The proposal was submitted to the New South Wales Rugby Union by Mr. W. Heslehurst, a former Sydney referee, whose position takes him |>eriodieally to America. The New South Wales Union decided to ask for further details but informed Mr. Heslehurst that an Australian team would not contemplate making the trip while the war is on.
