VANCOUVER, April 29. Hundreds of automobiles stalled in the city on the fourth day of a gasoline famine which resulted from the oil companies refusing to sell at prices which the Government set below the previous scale, though the fixing of the prices has been validated by the Court. The police lurve added to the, confusion by threatening to tine those who break the parking regulations. (Received April 30, 11-15 p.m.) VICTORIA (British Columbia). April 29.
The Supreme Court of British Columbia cited nine major oil companies for violation of the Dominion’s Combines Investigation Act due'to their refusal to serve retail outlets because of the provincial price-fixing order.
