SUNDERLAND SINKS U-BOAT
Explosion In Fiord (Received April 30, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON. April 29. A Sunderland flying-boat sank a U-boat which was lying close inshore in a Norwegian fiord. The first bomb burst just above the submarine and the second almost underneath, after widen there was an explosion, leaving only a patch of oil.
