HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE IN MOERA
A six-roomed house occupied by Mr. John Gunn, butcher, 74 White's Line East, Moera, was destroyed by fire at 3 a.m. yesterday. The Lower Hutt Volunteer Fire Brigade received a call too late to save the house but prevented the spread of the fire in the neighbourhood.
