FISH PLENTIFUL IN HAWKE BAY
Dominion Special Service. NAPIER. March 27. splendid fishing conditions prevailed OU Hawke’s Bay beaches during the weekend At Haiimoana alone it is estimated that close oil 2000 kahawai were caught OU rolls, rettn boards and lines. Other fishermen out in the bay in boats, ami trawlers, 100. report excellent catches and a pleasing• variety. Cod appear to be more than usually plentiful; one parly of live on a launch collected nearly a chaffsack full of cod ami schnapper.
