The plight of a large dog. a red setter, swimming up aud down below tlie Oriental Parade seawall yesterday evening attracted the attention of local residents. The dog was baffled by the steep wall, and had no idea of following it. some hundred yards to tlie nearest landing place. It bad been fully half au hour iu the water, aud was becoming exhausted, when tlie watchers were able to persuade it to swim along to the beach, and emerge finally in safety.
