Mr. J. S. Barton, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mr. L. G. Lowry, M.P. for Otaki, is visiting Ibe South Island. Mr. C. W. Batten, Wellington, was a passenger Io Auckland on the Limited express last night. Herr E. Ramm, Consul-General of Germany in New Zealand, left Wellington for Auckland last night. Mr. George Thompson, aslstanlmanager of Shaw, Savill Lines, arrived al Wellington from Loudon in the Dominion Monarch on SaturdayMr. J. Nicol, superintendent engineer of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, i.s a round-voyage passenger in the Dominion Monarch, which arrived at Wellington on Saturday. Mr. 11. I. Auslad, director of J. Hott, Lid., and chairman of the council of Ibe New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, returned to Wellington from the sou Lb on Saturday. Mr. E. B. Newton, secretary of the Wellington Clothing Trades Employees’ Union, will be acting-secretary of the New Zealand Federated Clothing 'Prados Industrial Association during Ihe absence of Mr. .1, Roberts, the workers’ delegate to the International Labour Olliee Cmiferern-e at Geneva.
