BEEKEEPERS MEET
Organization Formed In Wellington A branch of the National Beekeepers’ Association of New Zealand was formed in Wellington on Saturday night, at a well-attended meeting of beekeepers living in Wellington suburbs and district. Mr. J. M. Bodmin, Miramar, who convened the meeting, said that doctors and dietitians were unanimous in recommending honey, which was the most easily digested form of sugar. The following executive committee was elected: Mr. J. M. Bodmin, Miramar (chairman) ; Mr. W. P. Carter, Wairere Road, Lower Hutt (secretary) ; Mrs. A. C. Harding, Miss F. Crawsliaw, Messrs. J. M. Case, IV. H. Brown. Members of the branch will meet regularly to discuss beekeeping and methods of producing the best quality honey.
