“HOUSEMASTER”
Repertory Society Production Interest will be added to the Wellington Repertory Theatre Society’s stage presentation of Mr. lan Hay’s comedy, “Housemaster,” in the Town Hall Concert Chamber tomorrow night, because the film version is also being screened in the city. 'Though this society has been in existence for nearly 13 years, this is the first time that any play has been presented concurrently with a film version. The comparison should, at least, be interesting. Mr. Leo du Chateau is directing the stage production. He has associated with him a most excellent cast. This will include Messrs. Vivian Rhind, A. G. C. Deuber, Dr. P. B. Benham, Erie Lawson, John Roberts. Lindsay Arlow, C. A. Bur- \ TI Macandrew, Masters Murray Todd, Richard Climic, Lawrence Gardiner. Mrs. W. A. Marlin and the Misses Heather Horrax, Marjorie Hutton, Elspeth McArthur, Eileen Toward and Ngairc Thomson. As a play, “Housemaster exceeded the lease of the Apollo Theatre, London, and was twice transferred, first to the Shaftesbury and then to the Aldwycb Theatre, and ran for 663 performances. The box plans for the five nights' season are now open at the D.I.C. Other partiiyilars are advertised..
