Meeting After 41 Years
Two si-stere who had not seen each other for 11 years met lasi week. They were .Mrs. A. 1 lufcliin.son, Havelock. .Marlborough, who is S 8 years old, and Aire. D. Wadsworth, Auckland, who is S-l. All's. Hutchinson is visiting her daughter. Airs. Gilbert, in Kaiwarra, and Mi's. Wadsworth is the guest of her daughter. Airs. R. Banks, Carterton. They mot at the home of their neice, Airs'. L. Walls, Upper Hutt. Airs. Hutchinson ami Airs. Wadsworth are Hie daughters of Mr. John Gibbs (“Soldier Gibbs”), one of the earliest settlers of Wakefield, Nelson, who came to New Zealand in the Will Watch as the personal valet of Captain England. During the visit of the Duke of Gloucester he was introduced to Mrs. Hutchinson, and they laid a talk about the early days of Marlborough. Both women enjoy very good health, and spent a happy day together reviving memories of their early days.
