REPUBLICANS’ PEACE OFFER
Recognition Of Franco As Head Of State By Telegraph.—Press Assu.—Copyright. (Received March 25, 1.30 a.m.) ROME, March 24. It is stated that the Madrid envoys to Burgos have offered the total disarmament of the whole republican army and the recognition of General Franco as head of the State and army.
The only concession asked is that certain members of the Republican Government may seek refuge abroad.
