GROUP CAPTAIN COCHRANE.

Mr. Fraser, on behalf of the Prime Minister, expressed to Group Captain Cochrane the Government’s thanks for the services he had given over a period that had seen great expansion of the New Zealand Air Force. Mr; Jones associated himself with this expression of thanks, and also tendered thanks to Group Captain Cochrane for the services he had rendered 'to him personally. Both Ministers tendered to him the Government’s very best wishes for the future.

Group Captain Cochrane responded and returned his thanks to the Government, to Ministers and to the various departmental who had assisted him during his stay in New Zealand.
