TTNSTINTED finance permitted the v longest production schedule in the history of 20th Century-Fox, and unhurried production has been given “Jesse James.”' Filmed in technicolour at the actual places mentioned in the story, with a cast of thousands, the location trek of 1700 miles was the longest and biggest out of Hollywood for more than a decade. Entire towns and miles of countryside in the heart of the midwest were taken .over by expeditions and converted by armies of Hollywood artisans to revive atmosphere of the lawless era which brought forth the character whose name has become legendary to countless millions throughout the world. Tyrone Power’s fast ascent to the heights of popularity and ever-increas-ing hold on his world-wide army of admirers have been the result of sheer talent and personality. He portrays the outlaw king in “Jesse James.” Other members of the important cast are Henry Fonda, Nancy Kelly, Randolph Scott, Brian Donlevy, John Carradine and Slim Summerville.
