Visitors to Wellington Miss D. B. Speedy, Palmerston North, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J.. H. Morton and Mrs. D. Saunders, Eltbam, are on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. R. W. Matterson, Belfast, who has been visiting Wellington for the conference of the W.C.T.U., is now visiting her brother, Mr. C. A. Wilson, Wellington. Mrs. T. F. McKenzie, Hawera, was a visitor to Wellington last weekend for the special general meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Drama League, which she attended as South Taraniki delegate. When in Wellington she was the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. C. O. Bell, Miramar. On Holiday . Mrs. J. Bickerdike, Christchurch, is on a visit to Palmerston North. Miss Josephine Rice, Invercargill, is the guest of Miss Patricia Malcolm, Palmerston North.
Mrs. Harry Atmore, Nelson, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. J. R. Corrigan, The Oaks, Hawera. Miss Anne Atkinson, of the nursing staff of the New Plymouth Hospital has left to visit Hastings and 'Wellington.
Mrs. Logan, Wellington, is visiting New Plymouth and is the guest of Mrs. R. J. Grant.
Mrs. C. Fyfe, New Plymouth, is on a holiday visit to Timaru and the Southern Lakes.
Mrs. B. C. Bennett, Hawera, has returned from a five weeks’ motor tour of the South Island.
Miss N. Fitzgerald, Wellington, is visiting her sister, Mrs. W. Bowler, Stratford.
Mrs. J. F. Studholme, Masterton, is the guest of Mrs. George Helmore, Fendalton, Christchurch. Returned Home Mr. and Mrs. A. Amodeo, Auckland, who spend a few days in Christchurch after visiting Invercargill, arrived at Wellington yesterday on their return to the north. Mrs. J. W. Thomas has returned to New Plymouth from a visit to Timaru. Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Mark, Wanganui, have returned from a visit to Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill. Miss Constance Roberts and Mr. R. W. Digby Roberts have returned to Wanganui after spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. L. Miles and Miss Lois Miles, Gisborne, have returned home after visiting Wellington. Captain and Mrs. C. Sharpe, Everton Terrace, Wellington, who have been on a motor tour of the South Island, have returned home. Going Abroad Sir George and Lady Elliot, Auckland, and Mr. Patrick Elliot left last night from Wellington by the Maetsuyeker, for the Dutch East Indies and South Africa, en route for England. Mr. and Mrs. Derek Studholme, Coldstream, Canterbury, have left on a Visit to Mrs. Studholme’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Crawford, St. Andrews, Scotland.
Mrs. von Zedlitz, Wellington, will leave by the Mataroa tomorrow for a visit to -England.
Mrs. Arthur Macdonald, The Terrace, Wellington, will leave by the Awatea on Tuesday for a visit to Sydney.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Greenwood and their two sons (Teviotdale, North Canterbury) will leave today for Wellington on their way to Australia, where they, will spend some weeks before leaving for a trip to England.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Yock. Auckland, left last night by the Maetsuycker from Wellington for a visit to Java.-
