Arrival At Sydney 'Tlie following cable message was received yesterday from "The Dominion's” special representative on board the Shaw, Savill motor-liner Dominion Monarch'. "The Dominion Monarch arrived at Sydney at 5.45 a.m. on Tuesday, 28 hours out from Melbourne, completing a new record passage of 13.236 miles from Southampton to Sydney, her steaming time being 27 days 3 hours 42 minutes at au average speed of 19.47 knots, equal to 467.4 miles daily. The liner was greeted outside the Sydney Heads by the new pilot steamer Captain Cook. The Dominion Monarch made a stately passage up the harbour and berthed at Circular Quay at 7 a.m.”
