RESIDENTIAL NURSERY
Reports To Committee Of Three Months' Work
December, January, and February were very busy months for the Residential Nursery in Wellington. Christmas activities were graphically described in the matron’s report, to the executive meeting of the Women’s National Reserve, which was held recently. Mrs. L. -0. H. Tripp presided. Members expressed pleasure at the work so ably performed by the matron, sub-matron, and staff under so many difficulties.
The matron expressed great appreciation of the modern conveniences lately installed, without which it would have been almost impossible to .carry on. She also sincerely thanked all those who so kindly and generously helped with donations in money and time.
The committee dealt with a large amount of business routine and appointed a sub-committee to deal with matters of urgency. The committee consists of: Chairman, Mrs. L. 0. H. Tripp: deputy-president. Mrs. A. B. Gibbons: treasurer, Miss Wiltshire; president, Mrs. F. Porter; secretary, Miss Sheppard.
