Masterton-Opaki Rille

Club Beaten Twenty rillemen from the Petoue Club visited .Masterton on Sunday for their annual match with the Masterton-OpaKi Rille Club. The meeting was one of the most successful since the inception ot au interchange of visits some years ago. Shooting conditions were rather trreay, in particular at 900 yards. H. ASmith was top-scorer for Masterton nitli 117 of a possible 125. Ten shots were tired at SOO yards and 15 at JOO yards. Taking the first 15 scores of each club, Pctone won by one point on the aggregate total, and had two wins to MastertonOpaki’e one on squad results.

Also tired: W. Scambury, 42-59-101; E. Solomon, 44-55-09; S. Owen, 00-a9-Ji , C Lusty. 33-62-95; N. C. Gregor. 40-u4-94. Mnsterton-Opuki.

Also fired : B. R. Jenkins. 46-55-101; T. Oakley. 38-61-99. . Two Opaki women, using .303 rifles for the lirst time, showed promise—Yliss Dixon. 44-58-102. and Miss Oliver, shooting oiilv at. 900 yards, 61. H. V. Donald won the handicap trophy shoot and T. 'Sutherland was second.
