Dannavirke Garden Party.
A garden party at Mie home of Sir Alfred and Lady Ransom, Queen Street, Danuevirke, on Saturday, was organized by members of the National Club. The beautiful grounds presented a gay appearance with masses of summer flowers and numerous welllilled stalls, which did a brisk trade. Mrs. Bingham’s orchestra supplied delightful music. Among those present were Lady Ransom, Mesdames Breakwell, A. Holden, Herbert Cunningham. A. Slewart, Carlson, Hooper-Smith, T. G. Nelson, McCallum, Bonne, H. Cowper. Hogg, Webb, France, Mitchell, ■Williams, Hanna, L. G. Crosse, Selby, McNicol, Roake, R. B. Varton, R. Pedler, R. Stewart, Rogers, Kitt, Painter. C. Thompson, Pinckney, Small, Misses N. Herbert, J.
