From the main hatchway of the Navigator entrance is gained to the saloon, in a corner of which is fitted a 30-watt radio transmitting aud receiving apparatus. Two guest rooms and tjie owner’s cabin adjoin the saloon, all being within a few feet of the bathroom and shower. Forward of this is the galley, in which a large gas stove, running hot and cold water, and electric refrigeration are but three of many modern features. A 50 horse-power Diesel engine gives the schooner a speed of eight or nine knots.
The yacht arrived at Auckland on February 10 from San Pedro, California. On her way south from Auckland she visited the Marlborough Sounds, Lyttelton and Dunedin. A few days were spent in Preservation Inlet and Dusky Sound, where bad weather delayed the yacht.
