IDLE ALONG SHIELD
Won By Tornado
Tornado won the Idle Along Challenge Shield, which was sailed on Wellington harbour yesterday. Belvedere was second. There were 29 competitors in the race, which is open to all members of Wellington clubs. Three boats withdrew, one because of an injury' to a member of the crew, and the others' because of a broken boltstay and :i broken backstay. There was a fresh northerly wind.
