INVERCARGILL, March 17. , There is every promise of the Wyndham Trotting Club staging a record annual fixture tomorrow, as fields right through have seldom been better, and the track promises to provide a fast surface. Great interest is being shown in the Juvenile Stakes, for which Ned Worthy has been installed a firm pre-post favourite. Brackets are:—Ferry Handicap, Geelong and Hatrack ; Trial Handicap, Sungauge and Trousseau, Pontoon and Abel; President's Handicap, Ochiltree and McGlusky, Dan McGrew and Gold, Streak; Menzies Handicap, Geelong and Hatrack; Edendale Handicap, Willowbank and Directly, Guywin and Central Lad. The single pool system of betting will operate. Th following horses'are likely to be in favour:— Ferry Handicap: Hatrack, Gelert and Paddy’s Harvest. Trial Handicap: Indianola, Yon Yau and Viscosa.
