SOUTH ISLAND AND EXHIBITION

Manager Reports Keen

Interest

Considerable interest among South Island business people in the Centennial Exhibition was reported by the general manager, Mr. C. P. Hainsworth, who arrived back in Wellington yesterday by air after visiting Christchurch and Dunedin. In both cities he interviewed leading manufacturers on the subject of space bookings, with the object of stimulating participation in each centre. Mr. Hainsworth said that in Dunedin particularly interest was keen, and space bookings very satisfactory. He believed that bls recent tour of the Dominion, embracing visits to Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin, would be reflected in further bookings.
