WELLINGTON COLLEGE GARDEN PARTY

A garden party to provide funds for Hie erection of three fives courts at Wellington College, will be held on Hie spacious grounds of the college on Saturday afternoon. There will be the uoniil attractions and, as well, the Ngati-I’oneke Young Maori Barty under Hie leaderchip of Mr. Kingi Tahiwi sen., will give Maori action songs. Cinema screenings, promenade concert items, and items by the Boys' Institute Band and the Caledonian Pipe Bnnd. will also be presented. I'or those who wish to swim or to play tennis, the baths and courts will be available. Because of the attention focused on physical fitness and the great advantage to pupils of having facilities for lives, it is Imped that the garden party will be warmly supported by all interested in Wellington Colege. A dunce arranged by the prefects will be held in the school gymnasium at night.
