RIFLE SHOOTING
Karori Defence Club
The Karori Defence Rifle Club tired a practice shoot at 300 yards at the Seddon Range, Trentham, on Saturday. Conditions were inclined to be tricky, a fishtail wind causing many “magpies.” The be*t scores of the day were returned by H. V . Croxton, 47-49-0-96, to win a spoon. In the handicap section R. Paxton won a spoon with 42-45-5-92.
