Of a total of 15,287 electors onlv 355, ur approximately one-l’orty-fifth. of 'the total rolled voted. The four booths were open for .10 hours, making the average number of voters at each approximately nine an hour. This was the first election for a Hutt licensing committee in 10 years. In Petone 163 voted, in Lower Hutt 125, in Moera 52 and at the Birch Street hall, 15.
