A woman with 24 previous convictions for drunkenness, Constance Louise Clements, domestic, aged 43. appeared in the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington. yesterday, and pleaded guilty to her sixth offence within the past six months. She wrjs convicted by Mr. VV. F. Stilwell, S.M., and was orclered to he detained in an inebriates’ home for 18 months.
