LATE MR. R. M. ROBERTS

Bowlers’ Tribute Reference to the death of Mr. It. M. Roberts, a well-known bowler and a former president of the Wellington Bowling Club, was made by the president, Mr. M. J. Casey, at last night’s meeting of the Wellington Bowling Centre. Mr. Roberts had been a member of the Wellington club for some 25 years, said Mr. Casey, and he had also served ou the directorate. A great sportsman aud the possessor of a wonderful personality, Mr. Roberts was one whose place would be hard to fill. (Members stood a moment in silence as a mark of respect.
