MONEY AND CHEQUE STOLEN
New Plymouth Burglary 1 i «5y Telegraph— Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, March 12. About £2O in cash and a cheque for £2B were stolen from a New Plymouth house on .Saturday night. Mr. R. Wilton, Hawera, lost the cheque and most of the cash; and Mr. W. P. Alien, Hawera, the balance. They were staying with Mr. Patterson, sen., in Gilbert Street. Access to the house was apparently gained through' a bedroom window. The money was left in two handbags.
