"LET’S GO HUNTING”
Delighted Audience The audience at the Grand Opera House, Wellington, was again delighted by Mr. Stanley McKay’s “Gaieties” company when they presented their second programme, “Let’s Go Hunting.” Usual. ]y the title of such revues means nothing, but in this case the colourful finale of the first part was a typical English hunting scene, with the scarlet-coated huntsmen gathered round the village inn, preparatory to the chase. The star turn was the performance of George Hurd, clever juggler. Those who saw him soon realized why he has become internationally famous. Other outstanding items were given by Scotty and Dolly, Australia’s premier djneing duo; Stella Lament!, brilliant personality girl; Snowy Towers, mimic of screen stars; . Nellie Kolle, famous male impersonator; the San Remos Bros., matchless hand balancers; Assain, 'Pekoe, Souchon and Congo, crazy acrobatic clowns; Jerry Keogh, acrobatic dancer; Dolly Donoghue, solo dancer, and Max Redd}’, light comedian. The last matinee of the Wellington season of this thrilling company will be tomorrow.
