Saturday’s Results From The

Seddon Range

CONDITIONS DULL (By ArEniUKE.) Shooting on the Seddon range at Trantham on Saturday took place on the 300 yards range. Conditions were dull and overcast, with a moderate wind from the south-east. The honours list for Saturday is:— Highest double-range scores: Riflemen W. 11. Ballinger gud IV. H. Nickless (Petone), 95 each; O. Pedersen (Petonelj L. Wilkinson (Suburbs), P. W. Congreve (Old Navals), 94 each; 11. H. Nicholl (Petone), 93; K; MacDowall and S. C. Higgins ' (Petone), P. C. Coote and B. Moss (Old Navals), 92 each. Highest single-range scores: Riflemen W. H. Ballinger and R. H. Nicholl (Petone). 49 each ; K. MacDowall and W. H. Nickless (Petone), R. W. Jenkins and L. Wilkinson (Suburbs), and P. C. Coote (Old Navals). 48 each. The range on Saturday, for all clubs, will be 800 yards. The formula for the allocation of squadding numbers will be number 5, and the squadding numbers for each club will be: Old Navals 1-4, Suburbs 6-9, Karori 11-14, Petone 16-21, and University 23-24. Petone Club. The Petone Rifle Club fired the first shoot of the fourth series in Trentham on Saturday, the results also counting (or the Burridge and Longiield aggregates. Because the shoot at 300 yards a fortnight ago was counted for the club championship, last Saturday's results will nut couut in that aggregate.
