VALIDITY OF IMPORT REGULATIONS
Lord Galway To Obtain Ruling’ By Telegraph—j Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 13. The ruling of the Attorney-General on the validity of the Government’s import control regulations is being obtained by the Governor-General, Lord Galway, following receipt of the importers’ petition early this month. The clause in the petition on which the Attorney-General is being consulted states: There exists a very grave doubt as to whether the import regulations are intra vires and valid.
