HUNT IN COLD DAWN
Gobi Ingots From Air Liner ALL NOW RECOVERED Paris, January 30. A mild gold rush occurred at Oi.sement following (lie discovery of the Hillman airliner’s ingots, the whole countryside rushing to the scene. The hunt began before dawn in freezing weather in snow-clad soil. It is stated that all the lost gold has now been found. The finder. Madame Dion, was gathering wood when she saw a packing case. She thought it would make excellent firewood. She then remembered the newspaper story of the missing gold, dropped her bundle of wood, and rushed to the nearest gendarmerie. Gendarmes hurried to the spot and watched all night long. Madame Dion does not know whether she will receive a reward, though London newspapers state that Lloyd’s had offered £lOOO to anyone finding the gold.
