FOUR MEN KILLED
Plane Crash in Yukon (Received January 31, 10.45 p.m.) , Vancouver, January’ 30. A message from Skagway, Yukon, says that the pilot and three mining men from Vancouver, Yukon, were killed when a plane leaving- there to inspect a Dawson mining proposition failed to gain altitude, crashed into the summit of the famous White Pass and rolled down the mountainside. The Segrave Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the .British subject who, in the opinion of the awarding committee, accomplishes the most outstanding demonstration of the possibilities of transport by land, air or water.
