“Yesterday, to-day and to-morrow” is the intriguing popular name of a Brazilian species of the evergreen shrub brunsl’eisia, at present attracting attention at Brooklands, New Plymouth. The shrub is now covered with white and bright bine blossoms and pale blue buds, the first colour typifying yesterday, the second to-day, and the third to-morrow.
