“Laddie” to be Filmed
RKO Radio production- > to be seen in the near future will be “Laddie,” from the famous novel by Gene Stratton Porter, whose novels have had the greatest sale of any American author. “Laddie” ranks seventh among the best sellers of the past 50 years. This old favourite has a surprisingly strong flavour of “Little Women,” in period, structure and feeling. It is crammed with homely human incident. Carefully cast, it will produce in audiences the same satisfying glow as “Little Women.”
