TT has been left to one of the most enterprising American film-produc-ing companies in Hollywood to capitalise on the life of that world-famous Australain magician, Harry Houdini, as the Columbia Pictures Corporation announce to their Australian offices that they intend to embark upon a pretentious talking film production based upon the life of this personality. Signed to portray the role of Houdini is Fred Keating, America’s foremost magician. There will b& assembled around him a cast of screen personalities who will supply the backgrounds for the many various interludes that made this world-famous figure’s life one of such national interest.
