ACCURATE CLOCKS

Construction in Germany (Received January 30, 11.30 p.m.) Berlin, January 30. The. Reichstag Institute of Physics has constructed what are claimed to be the-four most accurate clocks in rhe world. They are operated by electrical-ly-produced vibrations from quartz crystal and can deviate from the right time to the extent of only one twothousandth part of a second every halfyear. The crystal is hung in a vacuum tube inside a double copper box containing air, aluminium and feathers, which keep the temperature unvarying.
