Franklin Bouillqa, urging deputies in tlie Chamber to debate German rearmament before tlie French Ministers went, to London, accused Britain of political short-sightedness, declaring that had she ranged herself on France’s side on July 25. 1914, war would have been avoided. M. Laval, Foreign Minister, said that he and M. Flandin would insist on guarantees of security and the maintenance of adequate French military strength. It is understood that the question of Lithuania also figures in,the conversations, and the hunting expedition will culminate in a talk with Marshal Pilsudski, Minister for War.
