YACHT LEAVES SYDNEY ON WORLD CRUISE
4. Two Aucklanders Aboard (Received January 30, 11.50 p.m.) Sydney, January 30. The 37-foot rigged yacht Bissy Girl, with Captain Victor Brisson, formerly of the French mercantile marine, as master, left Sydney to-day on the first stage of a world cruise. With him are tlie Aucklanders, Mr. Leon Hardley and Mrs. Hardley, who met Brisson at Tahiti last year during the latter’s voyage across the Pacific in this particular yacht. Mrs. Hardley, prior to their departure, said she had always wanted to see the world in this manner. The yacht’s first port of call will be Lord Howe Island.
