TRAMWAYMEN AT PLAY
Lauchlan Cricket Cup The annual cricket match for the Lauchlan Cup, between Wellington and Christchurch tramwaymen, will be played on Kiilbirnie Reserve on Monday and Tuesday next, play commencing at 11 a.m. each day. The following teams will take the field:— Wellington.—J. Standidge. J. Tilyard, H. Holmes, C. Peterson, .F. Lloyd, P. Yates, M. Sim, N. Walters, E. Killick, L. Noot, L. Elliott, M. Daly. Christchurch.-—-T. Alexander, G. Browne, W. J. Cadenhead, T. Cook, R. Commons. J. Dawson, S. Holmes, J. Murray, D. McKenzie. E. Parkes, L. Smith. Mr. W. J. ’Walters and Mr. G. Cooke, manager and- secretary respectively, will accompany the team. The umpires will he Messrs. W. Toomath and Watts.
