The Union Jack
Sir.—lu reference to the question of the Union Jack, it may interest you to know that when Hawaii was ceded to U.S.A, by England, the Hawaiians asked and obtained permission to keep the Union Jack on their flag. They were much attached to British rule and did not wish for any change.—l am, etc.,
